I told myself when I started this blog that it was my professional mouthpiece; that I wouldn’t rant about anything other than my career and how it affects my life.  Well I was wrong.  While trying to regulate my writing and keep it on “job talk” I realized that I have been holding myself back.  So this post is dedicated to my love for the Philadelphia Flyers and hockey in general.

This is the year, I’ll say it as long as I have to – until we bring the cup home to Philly.  We’ve added Jagr and Bryzgalov this year and I am fucking stoked.  Finally a decent goalie and a veteran to instill some discipline.  So far I have nothing to complain about, but I’m going to anyway.

Bryzgalov
It is about damn time we have a decent goalie in Philly.  Boucher has been the bane of my existence for far too long.

Hartnell
Scottie is starting to look old on his line, they need to put him on a line with someone that can score….ok as I’m writing this Scottie decided to score his first goal of the 2011 season.

You give me hope every year brother, and somehow always look like you are 18 years old.

Boucher is gone so he shouldn’t rub off on you, win games and I’ll be happy.

I am stoked for hockey this year – I’m stoked for hockey every year – I can’t wait to sit in the Wells Fargo Center and drink a nice cold beer, damn I love hockey.
